Declaration and Consent Regarding the Processing of Personal Data

In the course of commercial and consumer transactions (such as purchase and sale agreements, invoicing, product delivery, product return, communication of complaints and requests, and other similar transactions) carried out with Kamsan Chair (“Kamsan”), certain personal information is requested from you or obtained throughout the continuation of the relationship. This is done for the purpose of providing better service, improving communication with you, and understanding your needs and interests. In this context, your personal data is collected, used, and, when necessary, transferred to third parties and/or institutions after sufficient information has been provided and your explicit consent has been obtained.

During the execution of business processes, the personal data maintained in physical or electronic form—such as Identity Information (name, surname, gender, age), Contact Information (address, phone number, e-mail), Financial Information (invoice details, credit card or bank details), other information arising from commercial or consumer contracts, educational background, photographs, and, without limitation, special categories of personal data (excluding data on health and sexual life, but including data such as race, ethnic origin, political opinion, philosophical belief, religion, sect, or other beliefs, clothing, association, foundation or trade union membership, criminal convictions and security measures, biometric and genetic data)—are all considered personal data under the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“KVKK”).

All such personal data included in the documents mentioned above are processed by the Company for the purpose of fulfilling the obligations arising from commercial relationships or consumer contracts, fulfilling the rights and obligations arising from the Law on the Protection of Consumers, establishing distance sales contracts, identifying the preferences of consumers or traders to provide better services, ensuring product delivery and return within the framework of purchase-sale agreements, evaluating and resolving all requests and complaints, providing feedback when necessary, meeting customer demands, performing billing and payment transactions, ensuring product delivery suitable to the physical characteristics of the relevant persons, enabling installment options, and, without limitation, fulfilling legal notifications to Tax Offices, Courthouses, and other authorities. Personal data is also transferred to shipping companies for product delivery and return (for address and contact purposes) and may be used before, during, or after the relationship between the parties, including communication via e-mail.

All these personal data are processed for the purposes specified above and may be used internally by the Company as well as shared with our business partners, group companies, affiliated offices, subsidiaries, contractors, and other necessary persons, institutions, and organizations (especially manufacturers, suppliers, and logistics companies), both domestically and abroad. Your personal data is shared with these third parties only to perform operations on behalf of our company, taking all necessary data security measures.

The personal data collected is processed in accordance with the principles of legality, fairness, accuracy, and up-to-date information when necessary; for specific, explicit, and legitimate purposes; and is limited and proportionate to the purposes for which it is processed. It is not used for purposes other than those stated in this consent form.

Your personal data will be stored only for the purposes specified in this declaration and consent form and/or for the purposes stated in additional notifications that may be provided with your future consent, and only for the period required by the applicable legal regulations.

We remind you that you have the right to learn whether your personal data is being processed, to request information regarding such processing, to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with its purpose, and to request correction of any incomplete or inaccurate data, as well as other rights under the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698. You can exercise these rights by completing the form available on the Data Subject Application Form page and submitting it using the methods specified therein.

I have read and understood the “Declaration and Consent Regarding the Processing of Personal Data” detailed above. I explicitly and voluntarily consent to the collection, use, and processing of my personal data within the framework stated above and to the transfer of my data to affiliates, offices, business partners, and, without limitation, to third parties, institutions, and organizations abroad in accordance with Article 9 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK).
